So I got this computer for school back in 2015 overall pretty good computer. It still runs like a champ as we approach 2019. I have taken it to mutiple countries and no problems, played Sims 4, Diablo 3, use it record a final, written enough papers to have books ten books over. The specs are great, but the hardware leave a lot to be desired this poor thing in fallin apart at the seams. I have had the screws replaced, lost those screws and gone and gotten new ones to no avial. The final straws for me is the bottom of my laptop is lifting from the top of the keyboard so no more carrier this beast around anymore. Which for me is a problem because I am a currently deployed soldier that on the move a lot. The other problem this computer faces is by the hinges the cover has broken off exposing then computer and weaking the hinges I have to place the screen just the right way for me to see. I am not going to toss this computer since it been so great to me, but it will retire in a diminsioned state. I would recommend this computer for light use don’t cart in around everyday like I did. I totally plan on getting another dell product in this line up in the furture.

We purchased this laptop 10 months ago and have had nothing but problems. We experienced lots of issues with the laptop being unresponsive and very slow. After a while we noticed the touch pad began to stop working randomly. After that the laptop its self began to fall apart with the top right bottom cracking open (we never dropped the laptop ever) and plastic parts began to fall off when we would pick the computer up from the table. Now the back case is cracked open, plastic parts and screws falling off, and the wireless card has stopped working. We sent the seller a message and never got a message back.

This is the 4th Dell I have owned and never had problems like this. I have had Dells last me 8 years now and this piece of junk did not even make it a year. DO NOT BUY FROM THIS SELLER.

1.) Really fast shipping! This laptop got delivered way before the estimated delivery date which is awesome!
2.) I got this laptop today (4/4/15) and so far I really like it. I was surprised by how cool the keyboard backlight looks. And the laptop looks pretty thin and kind of like an ultrabook. I like the nice sleek, modern design.
3.) I was also surprised that the laptop didn’t come with bloatware (the extra junk software that is installed in new laptops).
4.)*** Right now my only issue is the touchpad!!!!! THE BUTTONS KEEP GETTING STUCK!!! Right now I think it might just be me… maybe i’m not using it right or i’m doing something wrong. I’m going to keep using this laptop but if the touchpad buttons are still getting stuck after 2 weeks of use, i’m going to try to return this laptop. I spent way too much money on it for the touch pad buttons to keep getting stuck ON THE FIRST DAY OF USE!Example: When I try to right click something the right click button on the touch pad gets stuck and it won’t get unstuck unless I mess with it a lot.

**TIP: When you get a new laptop install a really good virus protection IMMEDIATELY! (I use Kaspersky Internet Security) My last Dell Inspiron lasted me 6 years without any trouble because I believe Kaspersky protected me from everything. Also I would try not to move the laptop around a lot. And I would always use the laptop on a hard surface. NEVER put the laptop on a soft surface like blanket, carpet and etc.

I hate windows 10, and it runs slow, but it is resiliant! I am clumsy and spill a drink on this computer at least once a month. This morning I accidentally knocked over half a gallon of water onto the keyboard. It took me a few seconds to tent it out to dry, and then the screen went black, because I was a sleepy oaf and had forgotten to immediately turn off the computer. Ah, well, I figured, I’ve had this for three years, and this computer has somehow pulled through countless accidents. Only a matter of time, right? Wrong, I come home, after having bought a new computer, and I fire this baby back up and it’s STILL WORKING!!!! If you’re clumsy and thoughtless and don’t need a computer for gaming or whatever, and don’t mind sacrificing a bit of speed, this computer has been amazing for me.

I had to return the first computer I ordered from amazon because of the touchpad not being flush with the laptop surface. Amazon promptly replaced this with a new computer at a better price (I had to reorder it because of my own mistake). This one works great so far. I have had it for 2 months and it has not been daunted by my video streaming, internet surfing, or intense word processing. The only small problem I have had is the touchpad because of how close it is to the keyboard. When I do a lot of typing, the bottom of my palms often touch the pad, moving the cursor to other spots on the word processing document. This was reduced when I adjusted the sensitivity under system settings, but it still happens occasionally. Its really not a big deal though, no computer is going to be "perfect". Would highly recommend. Lots of bang for your buck.

review instead of 3 days now its been 4 years from 2014 to 2018. So far, hard drive went bad within the first year. Second hard drive is about to go out soon and it is the same one they had in it. Battery went bad with in 2 years where it would be about 30% with in 30 mins when i was in a college classes. Which sucked when you have 2 classes that where back to back. After 3 years the computer started booting up slow where background takes like 15 seconds to appear anything on it. Very disappointing about the first hard drive not lasting long. And battery lasting two years. shows the quality they put into it and jacking up the price more than it is worth.
